Create a New Wallet
- Open Electrum
- Choose Create a new wallet
- Name your wallet file (e.g.,
my-savings) - Select Standard wallet
- Choose Create a new seed

Back Up Your Seed
Electrum shows a 12-word seed phrase:
- Write every word on paper in the correct order
